Gostámos muito das vossas imagens! A neve é linda.

Photos from Mafra
Rodrigo would like to share with you some of the fotos he took in Mafra, a village near Venda do Pinheiro.
This is the convent of Mafra, which was built by D. João IV, a Portuguese king. It’s very large, and you can visit it whenever you want, it’s one of the largest monasteries in Portugal
This is a place in Ericeira wich we call Furnas. Near here, by the sea, there is an hotel very near a beach called praia dos pescadores – fisherman’s beach.
Another picture of the convent in Mafra, from one of the village’s crossroads.
Here is the statue of D. João IV, who as I’ve already mentioned in the other picture, ordered the building of Mafra’s convent.
All photos by Rodrigo.

Visions / Visões I
This photo is one of the beautiful landscapes from Milharado. It was taken in a very cold day with a dark sky. Here we can see green landscapes with some old houses.
It snowed in our home for the second year in a row. Snow is very rare here. It was a joy! Unfortunately, the snow melted when it fell on the ground.
These are the windmills in Casais da Serra. One can tell by the sails that is is an old windmill. We can also see on top of the windmill a windcatcher shaped as a rooster, wich is rusting.
In this photo we can see a beautiful sunset in our country - Portugal. we can also see some nice trees. This is one of the most beautiful pictures that we share with you. We especially like the orange tones.
